Our Mission

Article Pic Mission To make disciples of Jesus Christ on the East Side of St. Paul who love God, love each other and love the world (Mark 12:30-31, Acts 1:8).

Vision To be an urban neighborhood church faithfully living out Jesus' message of grace and truth; reflecting the rich diversity of believers in race, ethnicity, and economic levels.

Loving God
  1. Through Worship - Becoming a people of Worship - having sincere, honest & enthusiastic worship of God, worshipping Him in Spirit and in Truth.
  2. Through God\'s Word - Becoming a people of The Word - having a dedication to its authority, its study and application.
  3. Through Prayer - Becoming a people of Prayer - recognizing the important role God has determined prayer to play in the fulfilling of His will.
  4. Through Stewardship - Becoming a people of Faithfulness in investing our resources for Kingdom purposes (Luke 16:10).
Loving Each Other
  1. By Valuing People - Becoming a people known for our love of one another (John 13:35) - accepting people wherever they are at emotionally, physically, mentally & spiritually and demonstrating to them the love & acceptance of Jesus.
  2. By Valuing Spiritual Maturity - Becoming a people moving ahead in our spiritual lives - helping each adult, youth and child to become all that God has gifted and called them to be and to take the next step in obedience.
Loving The World
  1. Through World Evangelism - Becoming a people willing to take risks and make sacrifices to plant the Gospel seed around the world and in our networks of relationships in our everyday lives.
  2. Through Neighborhood/Multi-Cultural Ministry - Becoming a people known for living in, caring for & making a difference in urban neighborhoods - seeking to reach & reflect the diversity of the surrounding community & of the kingdom of God.
  3. Through Urban Ministry - Sharing our burden for the often forgotten peoples of the urban community with our suburban & rural brothers and sisters.
