Kids Ministry

The backbone of our children's ministry is our Sunday School program.  We have classes for pre-school through high school.  We use curriculum that lays a solid foundation for faith in Jesus Christ and a life discipleship. 

 

 2 Timothy 3:14-17 says,  "But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.  All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,  so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work."

 

 Please contact us if you have questions about specific classes and curricula.  Sunday school is only a short time each week, so our desire is to teach important material that will cooperate with parents in training up children who love God, love each other & love the world.

 

Other special events during the year are our Christmas Program (often the 1st Sunday of December) and our Vacation Bible School (BUMP) (see photo above).  We also do Sunday School year round.

 

 

Kids Mentoring Program

Designed for school-aged children who are serious about following Jesus and who attend Sunday School regularly.  We strive to have a low student-mentor ratio (1-1 or 1-2 if possible) so we can have quality and consistent relationships between kids and mentors.  We meet weekly during several segments of the school year and summer.  We meet as a whole group to do music, Bible teaching, Bible application, Bible memory, games and snacks.  If you have interest, please contact Deanne or Kathy.
