Current Sermon Series & What's Ahead
2009 Sermons
For the outlines of many sermons, see "Previous Sermons" under "Sunday Sermons" on the left-top .
In January, we talked about Treasuring Christ more than anything else. We continue to offer select resources for you to check out that will help you in this quest.
We returned to the Gospel of John and covered chapters 5-7.
We finished a sermon series this Fall in Psalms 101-106. The series was called "Psalms: A Real Relationship With God."
We just began a topical series on "Sanctification: Who You Are vs. How You Behave."
You are encouraged to regularly read through the Bible book we are studying.
Read through the Old Testament in 2009! Our Adult Sunday School class is reading through the Old Testament this year. Each Sunday they discuss the previous week's scheduled readings at 11:15am. They have been using the reading guide from Discovering the Bible by Dr. Gordon Addington (from 1st Free Maplewood). Pick up a free schedule or schedule with journal in the foyer area. Also see "Adult Sunday School" under "Ministries" for more info.
I try to post past sermon notes under "Previous Messages." You can check there regularly to review some of the talks I've given.
If you have questions about what we will be studying (or you find typos in my article), please give me a call. Keep reading your Bible & "feed" yourself on God's Word all week!
God bless you & thanks for being a part of studying God's Word together!

2 Timothy 3: (NIV)
15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,
17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
